This Privacy Policy explains how BOKNUTRA Biosciences Co., Ltd. (“BOKNUTRA”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit www.boknutra.com (the “Website”), contact us, request a quote, download our catalog, or use our customer portal. It also explains how our internal application “Google Ads Dashboard” accesses and uses Google user data.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

  • Quote and inquiry forms: company name, contact name, business email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, estimated order quantity, target market, dosage form, target formula or ingredients, target launch date, your message, and any files you attach (for example formulation specs, NDAs or artwork).
  • Catalog download: company name and business email.
  • Customer portal account: name, company, business email, password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form), country, phone or WhatsApp number, company website and referral code.
  • Direct contact: anything you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Log and device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, referring page, and date and time of visit, recorded by our hosting provider for security and performance.
  • Cookies: see section 6.

3. How we use your information

  • To reply to your inquiry and prepare quotes, samples and production timelines.
  • To send you the catalog or documents you asked for.
  • To create and run your customer portal account, including login, password reset, email verification, quote tracking and member points.
  • To perform and manage a contract with you, including production, quality documentation, shipping and invoicing.
  • To keep the Website secure, prevent fraud and spam, and fix technical problems.
  • To measure and improve our advertising and Website, using aggregated statistics.
  • To meet legal, tax, customs and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the files you attach for any purpose other than evaluating and fulfilling your project.

4. Legal bases (for visitors in the EEA, UK and similar regions)

We process personal information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to perform a contract, because of our legitimate interests in running and securing our business, to comply with legal obligations, or with your consent where consent is required (for example non-essential cookies). You can withdraw consent at any time.

5. Google user data and our “Google Ads Dashboard” application

“Google Ads Dashboard” is an internal tool used only by BOKNUTRA staff to manage BOKNUTRA’s own Google Ads advertising account through the Google Ads API. It is not offered to the public.

  • What it accesses: when a BOKNUTRA staff member signs in with Google, the tool requests the Google Ads scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords). This gives access to Google Ads account data such as campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, budgets, conversion settings and performance reports, plus the basic account identifier needed to sign in.
  • How it uses it: only to view reports on, create, edit and pause BOKNUTRA’s own advertising campaigns, and to research keywords for those campaigns.
  • Storage: the OAuth refresh token is stored on BOKNUTRA’s own computer in a protected configuration file and is never published or shared. Report data is kept locally only as long as needed for the task.
  • Sharing: Google user data is not sold, not shared with third parties, not used for advertising profiles, and not used to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
  • Limited Use: BOKNUTRA’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
  • Revoking access: access can be removed at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Stored tokens are deleted when access is revoked or the tool is no longer used.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

  • Essential cookies: keep you signed in to the customer portal, remember your quote list and protect forms from spam.
  • Preference cookies: remember your chosen language when you use the Website translation feature (provided by GTranslate).
  • Analytics and advertising cookies: if enabled, tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking measure visits and which ads lead to inquiries. These use pseudonymous identifiers, not your name.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop the customer portal or forms from working.

7. Who we share information with

  • Service providers who host and run the Website and email for us (for example Hostinger for hosting), translation (GTranslate), messaging (WhatsApp, if you contact us there) and analytics or advertising (Google). They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
  • Logistics, testing and certification partners, only when needed to fulfil your order.
  • Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights.
  • A buyer or successor if our business is merged or sold, under the same protections.

8. International transfers

We are based in China and our service providers may be located in other countries. When your information is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps, such as contractual safeguards, to protect it as described in this policy.

9. How long we keep it

  • Inquiries and quotes that do not become orders: up to 3 years, then deleted.
  • Customer and order records: as long as the business relationship lasts, plus the period required by tax, customs and product-safety law.
  • Portal accounts: until you delete the account or ask us to.
  • Server logs: up to 12 months.

10. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, restricted staff access and reputable hosting providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email info@boknutra.com. We will reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

12. Children

Our Website and services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
